Impacts of Climate Change
Our climate is changing. Evidence shows that there have been long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, and humans have been the main driver of these changes.

A changing climate will:
- impact the health and wellbeing of our communities
- cause damage to housing, infrastructure, businesses and livelihoods
- result in changes to biodiversity and species extinctions – Land, Sea and Waters
- have an increased risk of extreme weather events including flooding and fires
- impact water availability and food production
